Aluminium lowering and raising poles enable access to extension arm and luminaire from ground level – inclination angle from 0° to 90°.Poles available in two versions:
- poles SAL-../P with height from 4,5m to 7m (4,5-6m with diameterØ120 mm by the base and6-7m with diameter Ø146mm), lowering and raising the pole is manual after removing securing bolts connecting both parts,
- poles SAL-..M/P with height from 8,5m to 10m and diameter 180 mm by the base, lowering and raising the pole is made by using helical or articulated mechanism. Novelty in this year is possibility of using the drilling machine in articulated mechanism, thanks to which lowering and raising takes place.

Application of lowering and raising poles:
  • sport areas e.g.: tennis courts, ski areas;
  • car parks;
  • gardens, residences;
  • roadway junctions;
  • ports, railway platforms, airports;
  • other areas with difficult access for lift truck.
   Advantages of using raising and lovering poles:
  • possibility of safe changing/maintenance of luminaire, camera, floodlight from ground level;
  • low maintenance cost of luminaire assembled at the pole top;
  • easy and safe way of lowering and raising pole;
  • lowering and raising can be made by one person only;
  • column can lowered in two perpendicular surfaces to the niche chamber in case of poles SAL…M/P;
  • purchase of one mechanism (helical or articulated)is enough to service all columns type SAL …M/P assembled by one investor;
  • low service cost – no need for high lift access equipment or above head height trained staff.

Exploitation stages of pole SAL-../P:

1.        Remove door
2.        Remove hinge securing bolt
3.        Hold column  and pull out hinge safety pin
4.        Manually walk pole down
5.        Assemble/ maintain luminaire
6.        Manually raise column
7.        Replace hinge safety pin  and hinge securing bolt
8.        refit column door.

Exploitation stages of pole SAL -…M/P:
1.        Fit collar accessory (helical or articulated) on pole
2.        Remove door
3.        Release 3 column securing bolts in spot of breaking
4.        Mount the drilling machine in mechanism
5.        Lower column
6.        Assemble/ maintain luminaire,
7.        Raise column
8.        Refit 3 column securing bolts in spot of breaking
9.        Refit column door
10.     Disassemble double collar accessory
